About Zanata Rhodesian Ridgebacks - Dallas Ft. Worth Breeder

My name is Andrea Stone and I am located in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Texas  metroplex. I have owned and loved Rhodesian Ridgebacks for a little over 20 years. In 2011, I became a proud owner of a ridgeback puppy from Vyrtuous Rhodesian Ridgebacks. Since that time, I have competed and traveled the country participating in conformation, lure coursing and a variety of other sports that focus on showcasing this amazing breed. I have met some wonderful people during my travels and learned everything possible regarding the health, well-being, and husbandry of my beloved Rhodesian Ridgebacks. 

Prior to starting Zanata, I worked with a friend and together we founded Heatherstone Rhodesian Ridgebacks. Many of the dogs showcased in the following pages are a product of the hard work and commitment we both had when hearing about our mentors retirement. When our mentor retired and subsequently passed, Heatherstone was born to carry on the vision of Vyrtuous, breeding Ridgebacks with a focus on temperament, health, conformation, and performance, while bringing in our own ideas and following the breed standard set forth by the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of the United States (RRCUS). The Heatherstone dogs produced with our joint efforts are continuing to be show and showcased in the show and lure coursing community. They are the foundation of what is to come and I continue to be proud and humbled by everything that has been accomplished in the last five years with the help of some dedicated friends and family that supported us along the way. 

I am very proud of the people I have had the honor to meet and work with over the last decade to enhance my knowledge and dedication to the Ridgeback breed. I look forward to enhancing and further developing that knowledge base and continuing to work with my mentors and other breeders to produce sound puppies that excel in conformation, performance and temperament.

I am a current member in good standing with RRCUS and the Trinity Valley Rhodesian Ridgeback Club. In addition, I am also a AKC Bronze Breeder of Merit.
